Privacy Policy

mydaiii ("the app") is a personal-diary app. We collect the minimum needed to make the app work and never sell or rent your data.

What we collect

• Account: email, username, display name, avatar, optional bio.
• Captures: short video clips you record, the times they were taken, optional city-level location, and optional music you attach.
• Social: who you follow, who follows you, your reactions, comments, and direct messages.
• Device: a push-notification token (so we can deliver pushes), and your local timezone (so daily nudges fire at sensible local hours).

What we don't collect

• Precise GPS — only city-level locality, and only when you opt in per day.
• Contacts, calendars, or any data outside what you explicitly add to the app.
• Behavioural ad-tech identifiers (no IDFA tracking).

How we use it

Strictly to operate the app: render your feed, deliver your messages, show you reminders you opted in to, compile your day at the end of the day, and run abuse-safety checks. We do not sell your data to advertisers and we do not run third-party trackers.

Where it's stored

On Google Cloud (Firebase) in the United States. Videos are encrypted at rest. Authentication is handled by Firebase Auth.

Your controls

• Edit or delete any post / day / message at any time.
• Block or report any user from their profile.
• Delete your account from Settings → Delete Account. This wipes your profile, days, posts, messages, and reactions within 30 days.
• Turn notifications off entirely from Settings → Notifications.
